COMMERCIAL ARCHITECTURE

The site is located on the Una Diu highway about 5 kms before the premises of Diu. it is a part of a big residential scheme which was to be developed phase wise. the site area for first phase of about 6500 sq. yard was divided into plots of about 135 sq.yard. each plot was to be developed as a residence with three bedrooms, living space, dining space, kitchen and other required amenities. the project was designed mostly as a weekend retreat for its residents. it is designed with the concept of integrating the interior spaces with the exterior spaces, and creating a relaxing and rejuvenating environment. the form revealed the beach side cottage language and the external colour combinations in pastel shades and greens with streets demarcated by the famous local tadi and palm trees creates a soothing and relaxing outdoor environment.
